Every player who participates in a Salt Spring United program must be registered in advance.

This is important to allow for planning and activities to run successfully.  It's also essential for insurance and  related requirements.  EVERYONE must be registered before participating, from from tots through to adults.

HOW TO REGISTER?

All player registration is done via a system called PowerUp.   This is a different website, which you can reach using the link in the headline above, or by clicking HERE.

First time users must create a PowerUp account to use the system.

WHEN TO REGISTER?     

​

Registration opens on March 1st each year.     

​

We encourage everyone to register early, as it helps the Club to finalise teams and plans..

​

We offer an EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT for anyone that registers before May 31st 2025 each year

​​

Also a LATE FEE  is applied for anyone registering late for competitive teams (U11-U18), from August 1st onwards. 

​

Please make every effort to sign up BEFORE August 1st.   Places are limited for U11-U18 teams.   After August 1st we cannot guarantee a place on any team in the U11-U18 division, however we do make every effort to get your child on a team.   When you register you are signing up for the club not an individual team.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

​​

Programs including Kidsport and Jumpstart offer grants to help families that qualify for financial assistance.   If you are applying for Kidsport or Jumpstart please notify the Registrar that you are doing so.
